Laramie is a hired ranch hand for the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. She is Walker's girlfriend, Mia's best friend and fellow barrel racer at the rodeo.

She bonds with the hired hands at Yellowstone Dutton Ranch but develops a crush for Walker, causing Lloyd to go jealous. She later volunteers with Mia to work on the ranch. After a fiasco where Lloyd almost killed Walker broke out, John made a decision to evict all females from the bunkhouse. Rip was later able to convince John otherwise after Teeter begged for her job back and revealed she was branded.
