John Dutton Sr., originally known as John Dutton, is a main character in 1883: A Yellowstone Origin Story. He is the eldest son of James Dutton and Margaret Dutton of the Dutton Family.
Biography
He is one of at least three John's in the family, the others being his son, John Dutton Jr., and his grandson, John Dutton III. He was only 5 years old when he journeyed with his Tennessee family from Fort Worth, Texas into the untamed Mountain West.
